Applications of BBa_K215002

Use this part to secrete any target protein outside of the cell (if coexpressed with part K215107) and have the target protein stick to the surface of the cell (if coexpressed with part K215210 or K215211). This construct can be used to generate purified protein using the [http://2009.igem.org/Team:Washington Ideal Protein Purification System]. It also has potential applications in generating proteins that are then secreted into the environment of the cell for a variety of purposes that could include environmental remediation, attack of other microorganisms, etc.
